Iron Grip adhesive with precision flow control sticks where other construction adhesives won't by adhering to both porous and non-porous surfaces and provides up to 75% less clamp time. Many construction adhesives require clamping for at least 24 hours. With GE Iron Grip adhesive, clamps can be removed in 6 hours or less. This adhesive is 30-minute water ready, waterproof, flexible, shrink-proof, and crack-proof.  The precision flow control eliminates bead surges, hand fatigue and the frustration that often accompanies squeeze tubes, caulk guns and other gun less systems.

Typical Uses: Tiles, Showers, Countertops, Tub Surrounds, Subfloors, Landscaping, Windows, Siding, Baseboards, Crown Molding, Backbedding

Adheres to: most aluminum, steel, PVC, fiberglass, polystyrene, glass, concrete, plywood, drywall, ceramic, porcelain, stone, granite, laminate, polycomposite, treated and untreated wood, MDF and masonry, furring strips, fiberboard, OSB, FRP and copper

Parts can be clamp-free in as little as 6 hours with relative humidity minimum 40% and temperature minimum 65°F

For additional information, see product label.

  1. Remove dirt, grease, and moisture from surfaces to be bonded.
  2. Cut nozzle tip to obtain desired bead size and PIERCE INNER FOIL SEAL.
  3. Working in sections, apply adhesive to one surface, 2" from edge in a zigzag or "X" pattern.
  4. Join parts immediately and wipe away any excess adhesive during application with mineral spirits. Do not allow excess adhesive to skin or over cure. Full cure time depends on bead thickness and other factors such as humidity and temperature. Higher temperatures & humidity accelerate cure time.
